Scope of application and purpose

The mine power supply unit is designed as a power supply for an automation device or a starter/control station power terminal status output device. The power supply unit may be used at underground excavations at mines, including salt mines, with fresh air inflow ventilation by general mine depression where standard mining electrical equipment of insulation class 2 may be used.
