Scope of application and purpose

SU-RV explosion-proof mine control station (the Station) is intended for remote control (start/stop), overcurrent and short-circuit protection of asynchronous electric motors of squirrel-cage type (max. 25 units) and branch connections of mine electric networks with insulated transformer neutral lines.

• The control station with a frequency converter (the Station) is intended to:

• Adjust feeding frequency and voltage

• Control start/stop sequences

• Adjust speed

• Provide protections and interlocks for 3-phase AC driving motors, subject to frequent acceleration, deceleration, or inversion of rotation direction, in particular, like:

• belt or drag link conveyor drives,

• pump drives,

• fan drives,

• electric vehicle drives, etc.

The stations are designed to work at 660V to 1140V, including at underground mines and shafts with gas and/or combustible dust hazard. A station can be either non-Ex (standard) or Ex version.

SU-RN control station (the Station) is intended for remote control (start/stop), overcurrent and short-circuit protection of asynchronous electric motors of squirrel-cage type (max. 20 units) and branch connections of mine electric networks with insulated transformer neutral lines. The station may be used at underground excavations at mines, including salt mines, with fresh air inflow ventilation by general mine depression where standard mining electrical equipment of insulation class 2 may be used.

SU-RV/.../.../.../.../TP explosion-proof mine control station with transformer substation (the Station) is intended to convert high voltage (6-10kV) into 1140/660V in order to feed current collectors with 3-phase AC at 50Hz, and for remote control (start/stop), overcurrent and short-circuit protection of asynchronous electric motors of squirrel-cage type (max. 25 units) and branch connections of mine electric networks with insulated transformer neutral lines.
